Aberdare National Park India lies at the heart of the Andaman Nicobar Islands and stretches to the distance of just about half the Philippines. It is located in the Indian Ocean, around 5000 meters above the highest point on earth which is Subantarctic Mountains in the centre of the archipelago. National Park Information, Facilities and Fees
Aberdare National Park is divided into two main regions i.e. the precipitation belt and the dry deciduous forest. The dry deciduous forest contains the coastal forests, which serve as a home to a vast range of flora and fauna. There are several species of animals and plants that are found in the park, including tigers, wild elephants, bears, monkeys, reptiles, trees, grass and wild palms.
If you want to see tigers, you have to approach Tiger Point in the Visayan region from the north, which is about two kilometers away. You can also approach from the south between October and April.
It takes about 40 minutes to reach Tiger Point from the north, and about 65 minutes to reach Masai Point by road, from the south.
July to September is the best time to visit this National Park as during this time, the temperature of the region remains between 18 to 24 degrees Celsius and the humidity is between 60 and70%.
Although touring is free of cost, you will like to consider spending some money on a tour guide, if you are a first timer.
We spent some time on the East Coast and visited places like Udale Bay, St Agnes and Udale Head. We also went to see Howletts Wild Animal Park in the same area. There are also some fine beaches along the East Coast, most notably Minsi Beach and St Margaret’s Bay.
September is a good time to visit Abisko, especially for the families. Fishing is done here and the experience will give you a lot of fun.
St. Mary is a good place to visit, especially if you are a novice. There are also caves in this location, where you can get the thrills.
October is a great time to visit Shipton Sands. The view from these beaches is simply breath taking. It is also cheap to do, as you do not need to spend any money.
November to January is the best time to view the marine parks. Amboseli is quite famous for its shops that sell traditional clothing.
Sight-seeing is cheap in this part of the country. If you want a more adventurous trip, you should go to the dry deciduous forests. There are a lot of rare and beautiful plants there. If you are well organized, you can spend your vacation in the African Safari.
This place is full of museums and history. It is a hot place to visit, as you can see a lot of historic buildings. If you are an art lover, then you can see the more than 250 art establishments, both old and new, within the boundaries of the park.
